I've already downloaded a 60GB game before realizing this was going on, and would love to avoid starting all over if at all possible. At the Update Driver Warning window, click Yes. In the Model box, highlight High Definition Audio Device (this is the substitute audio device driver) and click Next. However, that partition is gone, and so far as I can tell I have no way to access the drivers at this point. NOTE: If you see a window that says something like This is the best driver for this device, exit the window and repeat steps 4, 5, and 6. In fact, it circumvents the drivers-on-a-USB process altogether, and creates a 3rd little partition that contains them. Which brings me to my next problem: In the latest version of Bootcamp on newer Macs, it does not offer an option to manually download the drivers. It recognizes the internal speakers and externals connected through the jack, and acts as though it is playing audio with no issues, so I'm sure this is related to the driver installation. 1st the Monitor goes off then the Mac 'supposedly' shuts down. During shutdown, Windows does not 'kill' the internal USB Hub just puts it to sleep. Tried to reinstall Boot Camp Software and it got stuck on RealTec as well. Click the drive that contains the Mac OS disk. If the installer window doesn’t appear automatically, click the Start button, click Computer. ![]() It finished, but after restarting manually a bit later, it never actually installed the drivers, I don't have the little BootCamp icon in the taskbar, and most crucially, I have no audio. I received the Windows 10 version 1511.10586 Upgrade through Windows Update. Option 1: Install the drivers from you’re Mac OS disk Start your Mac and boot into Windows. ![]() The problem this time is that the BootCamp drivers installer kind of hung during the first launch of Windows 10. Just installed BootCamp, which I've done a number of times without issue.
